Wellness encompasses 8 mutually interdependent dimensions:
physical, intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, vocational, financial, and environmental. I call this WELL-TH.
It's an ongoing circle. Therefore, it is important for everyone to achieve optimal wellness in order to subdue stress, reduce the risk of illness and ensure positive interactions.
All dimensions of wellness need our attention for us to truly thrive. There will never be a balance among all dimensions. Instead, the goal is to find a personal harmony with the dimensions that are most authentic for you. You can't get there passively, it requires active awareness, mindset, acceptance and commitment. It is our hope to share information about the eight dimensions of wellness which will help you get started or refine your well-th plan.
